This cake is one of my very favorites because of the tiara! I made it with royal icing by piping the design onto parchment paper, letting it dry, pipping again, letting it dry... you get the picture, it consisted of many stages. It is probably the greatest thing I have ever created : ) I like the last picture because it shows some of the detail of the crown. I was so relieved that it made it to the cake without breaking that I didn't even care to clean up my mess (it was pretty bad after cupcakes and a cake tonight--similar to the damage Mollie and I can do on baking days ha ha).
OMG! That is FABULOUS! What a creation. Have you delivered it yet? Wow, he's gonna score some major points.
