There are several neat connections from this cake to different people. A few weeks ago at Keeneland Beth was talking to someone who had recently moved to Lexington and somehow their conversation led into cakes (shouldn't every conversation, though?) I am so excited I was able to make this cake for her daughter who is turning 10! The best part is that she was actually in Whitney's class at Cassidy during student teaching : )
I will be making a cake for another slumber party for her 8-year-old next week so "stay tuned." : )
Do you ever slumber? This cake is precious! Now you have to think of another approach for the 8-yr.-old. Easy for you---
ReplyDeleteThose slumber party girls are wide awake - just like at a real slumber party! This cake in darlin'! It has a big flat screen tv just like Gran's!

ReplyDeleteWoohoo! Slumber parties are always a great idea. My daughter also wants to have one and I have planned a surprise slumber party for her after we have some fun with the relatives and other friends at one of the rental spaces for parties. This cake would be great option. Thanks for the share.
